Did not see Dr. Idrees but some man, did not say anything to me during the procedure other than “Open. Close.” Now that I can feel my face again, my jaw is still in a good deal of pain; the crown feels as if it’s pushing in against the tooth just above it, and I was not given any sort of pain medication.

Highly recommend Pinnacle Dental and Dr. Idrees! The office staff are professional and friendly. Dr. Idrees has great chair-side manner, always takes her time explaining everything and answering any questions. She is patient and doesn't try to sell unnecessary treatments.
I was scheduled for a regular cleaning today, but it turned out I also needed a couple of small fillings. Luckily, they had time in the schedule and were able to take care of those right away. Dr. Idrees has excellent hand skills; the fillings were done smoothly and with barely any pain. Will be back in another six months, hopefully won't need any fillings next time!

I was seen by a male dentist, not Dr. Idrees. I was on travel and went in because I felt a crack/hole in one of my teeth. One of the assistants began by performing a full X-ray of my mouth. The male dentist who saw me (can't remember his name) was great - calm and informative, told me I had nothing to worry about and to see my regular dentist after I returned home. When I tried to leave, however, I heard quiet talking from the the back office where Dr. Idrees was seated. Rather than come speak to me herself, she had one of the dental assistants insist that I needed more X-rays. Even the male dentist appeared confused because he had actually reviewed my X-ray as well as the tooth itself and deemed there was no issue. Dr. Idrees still insisted, however, and likely only because my insurance covered the procedure (meaning money in her pocket). I did not appreciate that she chose to communicate through her assistant rather than to me directly. Very unprofessional on her part.

I want to be very clear that Dr. Idrees herself was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and pleasant. No complaints about her.
Unfortunately I will be seeking care elsewhere due to the dental hygienists/receptionists. Both hygienists bumped my head while putting the X-ray vest on me and didn’t say anything or acknowledge it. Awkward…
The the cleaning itself felt incredibly rushed and done haphazardly -unlike any dental cleaning experience I’ve ever had. The hygienist missed several times with the polishing brush and got paste on my face/lips. Again, she did not acknowledge or apologize for it. Several of my teeth were skipped over and not even flossed.

Overall, I had a good experience with the doctor and her team! The check in process was a bit strange, but once I was back in an exam room I felt well taken care of. I never love dentists if I am honest, but this doctor was welcoming and made the process as comfortable as it could be.

Check in process was a little odd but overall good experience. Staff was soft spoken which made them hard to understand on occasion but again, it didn’t impact the overall visit!

The staff was so kind and really amazing. I felt so cared for and comfortable. I have major anxiety with dentists in the past because of insecurity with my teeth and they made the appointment feel so judgment free. They accommodated my anxiety! Highly recommend.

I would never go back.. we booked our appointment a week before our visit with Dr Sundas. We went there. No patients were there. We waited a lot before starting our check up. 3 other drs were working with the kids. Dr Sundas didn't mention any reason why she will not working for them.The staff is not friendly at all. Not even a smile for the little kids already scared to be seen by a dentist.
The dentist asked them to open and close their mouth and assumed no pb. It took the dr less than a minute to check on both kids and give his feedback. They brushed their teeth and all the paste was on their mouth without wiping it for them. I don't recommend the place at all.

Dr. Idrees and her staff are hands-down, the best dental staff if Herndon. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, checked in and started my visit in no time. Dr. Idrees explained my X-Rays, procedures and answered my questions. My visit was a success and I will be returning for my next visit this Saturday.

Dr Sundas is a terrific dentist. I’ve been to multiple dentists in different states and she’s one of the best ones. I went in for a root canal and was a little concerned about the cost. The doctor looked up all of the cost items for me to ensure I had the full picture before deciding on a path forward. I would highly recommend her practice.
