Podiatry Foot and Ankle Institute specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle disorders for adults and children. We are located in Hackensack and Montvale in Bergen County. Our professionals understand that foot and ankle pain can impede your best quality of life. Using the most advanced and effective conservative and surgical treatments available, we provide compassionate, courteous, and personalized care to our patients.
We specialize in foot and ankle surgery, as well as foot and ankle injuries and fractures, bunions and hammertoes, sports injuries, ingrown and fungal nails, heel pain, and warts, and provides arthroscopic ankle surgery and diabetic foot care. My friend has been a patient of Dr. Harris for a few years and my previous doctor didn't really seem too interested in finding the solution for my foot pain so made an appointment with Dr. Harris. I did see beforehand a review that was pretty ridiculous because the office is clean, the wait was quick and the doctor spent lots of time with me.
I thought the office was well maintained and the staff was very courteous (thanks again to the woman who gave me directions on the phone that morning!). I have to say that I appreciated Dr. Harris talking with me about my underlying issues and the option for easing my foot pain. Usually my doctors seem like they are rushing me out the door, but Dr. Harris really explained my problem and told me about internet sites that offer items that would offer relief and exercises I could do the strengthen the area. He wasn't trying to sell me braces or put me on pain medications. My previous doctor just kept prescribing pills which made me nauseous. I finally feel better and highly recommend him!

Dr. Harris is wonderful! I have been a patient for years and I wouldn't change my doctor for anything. The staff is so caring and considerate of my time. He always answer my questions and makes sure I understand everything and not many doctors do that anymore! I had a surgery with him 2 months ago and feel so much better! He's a gem!

Since I have been diagnosed with diabetes, I have had a few problems but Dr. Harris took the time to work on a good game plan for me. I feel confident that any future foot and ankle issues will be handled well and am happy I found such a competent doctor.

Waiting room was overcrowded. Examining rooms felt unhygienic considering you have to walk around bare foot. Doctor didn't pay to much attention other then trying to drive up costs. Waiting time was too long for a 10 min consult.

I Have a somewhat elusive problem with my large left toe. There are several possibilities that could be the root cause of the discomfort I have been having, but the Dr.s Harris and St. Pierre were both patient and willing to take the time to discuss different causes and solutions.

For my first appointment, I thought he was very thorough, listened to my complaints, didn't feel rushed. He made you feel very comfortable, you can see the passion he has for his profession.
