Maurice Betesh, DPM, is a podiatrist and the proud founder of Podiatry Healthcare Associates. Dr. Betesh understands how challenging it is to get around New York City with foot and ankle issues, so he set up three office locations in Brooklyn at Midwood, Clinton Hills to make podiatric care accessible to adults and children from his local community.
Dr. Betesh is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Betesh graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City with honors in 2016. He went on to complete a three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic foot and wound care at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
At Podiatry Healthcare Associates, Dr. Betesh works closely with patients to provide them with the most appropriate treatment options for their condition. His goal is to get his patients on their feet and back to normal as swiftly and safely as possible. He focuses on conservative, non-surgical treatments; however, if surgery is required, he’s a highly skilled surgeon and strives to make the experience as pleasant as he can for his patient.
Podiatry Healthcare Associates welcomes patients for a multitude of reasons. Dr. Betesh provides pain relief for heel pain and ankle sprains, treats infections such as ingrown toenails and nail fungus, offers ongoing support for diabetic foot care, and supplies custom orthotics. He also uses extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), an innovative, non-surgical treatment for tendinitis and plantar fasciitis.
