I am so glad that I found Dr. Robert Toomey. He said to call him Bob. My father had the most amazing service with the recommendations, ones that we have never heard of before. He not only assessed the instability in his ankle, but also metatarsal deformity, got an x-ray, referred us to an amazing orthotic shoe person, Hans, who referred us to another amazing service to adjust dad’s shoes. In addition, we had never heard of vitamin B as a way to regain feeling. Dad has bilateral neuropathy and he is now starting the vitamin treatment to help. I could not be more happy, and I am referring him to everyone.

Dr Toomey is a great podiatrist! He explains the treatment, in simple terms, using the foot graphics and gives options for me to choose. He asks good questions of my daily routine for being on my feet. Even when I move back down to Chester, Virginia in a couple years, I will always return for his expertise, always! Thanks, Doc!

Best experience I’ve ever had with a provider. Efficient check in with staff, helpful nurse who took my X-rays quickly and attentive doctor who thoroughly explained my condition and treatment. Doctor Toomey was truly helpful with explaining all my options with care even though it’s clear the issue was something he treats several times a week.

Dr. Toomey was excellent. They did x-rays right away and he diagnosed me easily and gave me options and suggestions for me to try. I ended up with a steroid injection in my foot PT orders and new shoe suggestions. I was very happy with my experience.

Dr. Toomey was very professional and knowledgeable. Right away from the first interaction at the check-in desk through my last interaction when I left, I was very pleased. The check-in clerk knew who I was right away, the medical assistant was very personable and professional, and the doctor himself was able to diagnose my issue and give me five different options to work on. This was a great visit!

I don't understand how come must things not covered any insure, they should be doing mostly people. They should ask them and what are some of the insure that is covered. Not everyone has the insure than others.

Doctor to me and all the staff were friendly and professional. I think the amount of paperwork at signin is excessive and relates to irrelevant topics sometimes. But my appointment proceeded at a reasonable pace, and doctor Toomey seemed very thorough and asked me my foot history and view on things as we went along. Yes, I would recommend this Podiatry service to anyone.

The wait time was over an hour, which had me a little frustrated. Nevertheless, the podiatrist doctor Toomy was very nice apologetic for the wait time he made everything clear about my foot and and what he can and cannot do at this point I really like him as a physician , he’s thorough. calm and gentle touch.

I also did not get information regarding shoes the Doctor recommended.

I went to Dr. Toomey because I had ingrown toenails causing me pain, and he had one of the soonest appointments with the highest reviews, and I see why his reviews are so good.
The doctor explained how & why it was happening, took some samples while fixing the nails, and recommended a few things. Because of the samples being tested, I will go back in a couple of weeks to follow up on those. I am very happy with his bedside manner - he explained ways that the issues can be treated, and how he approaches it usually, and that he's not one to take the most drastic action first, which I really appreciate.

I was nervous about going to a podiatrist and getting pushed into surgery or a bunch of niche products. Dr. Toomey is the opposite of that - candid, personable and clear about what the treatment options are with the pros and cons.
