Prairie Path Counseling & Wellness

Prairie Path Counseling & Wellness provides specialized therapy for teens and adults across Iowa, with both in-person care in Ankeny and telehealth options available. We focus on ADHD, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges—helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling more clear, confident, and in control. Our team of licensed therapists and a psychiatric nurse practitioner offers both therapy and medication management, allowing for coordinated, whole-person care. Whether you are navigating ADHD, the effects of trauma, or ongoing stress and life transitions, we tailor treatment to your specific needs and goals. We use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Gottman Method principles to help you build practical skills, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting change. Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and focused on real-life results—not just insight, but meaningful progress. Clients often choose Prairie Path Counseling & Wellness for our warm, nonjudgmental environment and our ability to quickly understand what’s going on and help you move forward. Appointments are available for teens (13+) and adults, both in-person and via telehealth (depending on provider).
