Repeatedly said “my child is autistic and has anxiety” as he had tears streaming down his face. But because he speaks and seems ok, perhaps she did not believe me? Or understand? She was rough with him and I refused to leave. He held my hand so tight. He bled (she asked if he’s a bleeder. Um, no?) and there were stitches for a “procedure” that ended up being necessary but her bedside manner was so atrocious. Then when I wanted to take a pic for the family and my child at the office, I was shamed “that’s private!” And later my child wished we’d had one, but we couldn’t because we didn’t want to break the stitches. The one Black female working in the office (doctor or nurse?) smiled in the doorway, I saw out of the corner of my eyes, as I held my son’s hand while sitting on the floor and I wanted her to hug me so badly! Technically good but the doctor does NOT understand neurodivergence and the extreme stress it caused my child and I the rest of the day. After waiting over 1/2 hour.

Star was extremely helpful and kind. Dr Alex Bokser what is incredibly nice and explained everything very well. His cleaning skills were great and the cleaning was very comfortable. The pricing is reasonable and they showed me all my options. So many clinics in queens are shameless money traps run by business people and not doctors but I felt like I was on good hands the entire time.

This dentist is through and very upfront. She tells you what is wrong, shows you XRays as she explains and was very detailed in layman terms.
I am waiting to see her again as she is very good.
The office is very professional in appearance. Her staff were also friendly and professional.
I would recommend this dentist.
