A little disappointed here. I waited all week for this appointment and expected a bit more time and attention from the provider. I had to wait about 40 minutes to be seen by her which was already disappointing. When I did finally get to see her, she appeared to be in a rush and did not really care to listen to my issue. She was walking away while I was talking. I think the issue was not severe or important enough for her time. I was literally asking questions in the hallway while she was walking away! I would not recommend and I will not return.

The office is modern and the digital check in process is impressive and efficient. The technicians are thorough and knowledgeable; however I spent the majority of the time with them and not the ophthalmologist. But im sure my insurance bill will primarily bill for the doctors services and not the techs. The doctor is knowledgeable but her bedside manner leaves lots to be desired. She's not very conversant and required probing which is too much work for me. They also should install sinks for handwashing in EVERY exam room. Eye doctors can easily contaminate and cross contaminate. I was surprised by the absence of sanitizing and handwashing in this facility.

It was a bit of a challenge getting to office having to navigate through Baltimore neighborhoods,
I chose this provider after researching credentials and I felt comfortable with my choice. My eyes had been irritated severely for past 4 months and I was miserable. My regular ophthalmologist didn’t have availability until June!
I’ve scheduled a follow up in three weeks so I am pleased and optimistic!

The appointment itself was fine, but they didn’t accept any insurance, which is confusing because Zocdoc said they did, and they asked me for my insurance card even though they don’t accept any insurance? I paid an copay and then I also had to pay additional just for the prescription! Not even for glasses. I paid an extra fee just for them to click “Print.” I paid almost triple digits total just to be able to see my prescription. So frustrating.

After seeing two practitioners (which combined took about an hour), it was time to see the doctor. I was in an extremely hot room and several staff noted how hot it was. I was left to wait in there for thirty minutes before I went out to go find the doctor, totally red in the face and parched from the heat. I asked when I would see her, and no one could tell me. Not only that, but they seemed frustrated by my asking. When I finally saw her, she just re-did what the others did and pushed pharmaceutical samples on me. In total, this appointment, for just an updated prescription, took over two hours. Wouldn’t return.

Super nice staff, especially the woman at the front desk and the two PAs that I saw. The office was very clean and easy to access. The lady at the front desk was also so helpful when i got lost trying to find the office:) Would recommended and will be going back!

The staff were very helpful when I called having trouble locating the office, and I was called back quickly. It took a bit of time sitting in the room to see the doctor, but not unreasonably long. The appointment was efficient and clear but not at all rushed!

She did the procedure that was necessary to find some relief for the chalazion and was very understanding that it was uncomfortable and I could stop at any time. She explained all the steps she was taking. Though it would have been an easier fix, I’m glad she didn’t recommend antibiotics because in the long run, it isn’t great for health. The next few days I started seeing an improvement!

An intern tried to get my prescription for over 30 minutes but failed. I then waited for the actual doctor for another 30 minutes. The doctor didn’t try to make sure my prescription was as good as possible, she spent less than 5 minutes making sure I met the bare minimum in terms of reading the text. She told her assistant to copy the cylinder from my old prescription. I got glasses with the prescription and it’s not any better than my old prescription, I have a hard time reading signs while driving. I chose to come here because they claimed they accepted my insurance but they charged me a fee for the prescription on top of insurance charges.

Overall the visit was solid. They took me right away and they seemed to have good technology. However after the nurse did the diagnostic tests, I waited ~30 mins for the doctor (I even. had to leave to move my car so I didn’t get a ticket / towed). When she did come, she helped me understand why I was having the issue (recurring stye/chalazions) and she showed me a video to explain it to me. She also helped me understand how to prevent them going forward. I’m glad she didn’t just give me antibiotics like a lot of other doctors.

Dr. Romero was very nice. She explained everything clearly. Her nurse was very helpful and nice too. Waiting time was minimal and the front desk staff were amicable. I'm very pleased with the whole experience and will recommend this place to my friends and family.
