I am a management consultant and have always needed to be perfect. I have put work above everything else in my life and everything else in my life has suffered. I have had so much trauma in my life beginning with my childhood. It is a little cliche to say, but I really did need to go back in order to understand my reactions to different triggers in my daily life. I have learned tons of coping mechanisisms to mange my emotions in a more effective way. I am also on the road to healing. It takes time but it is happening. Thank you for all of your help.

I started working with my therapist for individuals and that went so well that we also started working with another team member for couples therapy. I have had couples therapy before that really did not work. This practice uses the Gottman method which gives us the tools that help us be productive when things are not good as well as teaching us how to grow and enhance our relationship. I can not reccomend this practice more.
