Dr. Lev-Weissberg has numerous clinical interests including sleep disorders, metabolism and diabetes, rheumatologic diseases, psychosomatic disorders. He is actively studying the role of glucagon-related-peptide in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome and sleep apnea. True to his interest in medical education, Dr. Lev-Weissberg teaches UIC students and Lutheran General Hospital Residents, as well as nurse practitioner students from across the country. He has a rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Illinois. Dr. Lev-Weissberg was appointed a chairman of medication safety committee and actively serves on Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He is active in resident recruitment and selection process at Lutheran General Hospital.

The office was filthy. The receptionist seemed to be both doing receptionist duties and medical procedures. I waited an hour in the dingy waiting room to be taken back, the whole time considering whether I should leave. Finally he took me back to a room where medicine should definitely not be practiced, trash on the floor a medical table that I think was bought on amazon and covered with a crummy blanket.
The doctor then left to "do a phlebotomy" and was gone for another 30 minutes so I just left. I left a note telling him not to bill me and to shred my paperwork. He called me the next day and threatened to bill me and told me I had to pay him the zocdoc fee.

Disorganized, wait times too long, the people were nice and friendly but they probably were overbooked and the office was way too small for the amount of patients.

Dr. Lev is a phenomenal doctor. Truly the most knowledgeable and helpful doctor I have ever had the pleasure to be a patient of. He is a remarkable man who truly cares about each and every one of his patients!

Reason for the wait: it was training day and doctor was teaching young doctors. Quite the appointment! 4 doctors - very thorough, friendly and competent. One took detailed history and did an exam, then all 4 came and summarized the reason for visit.

I was impressed by the Dr's knowledge about what causes my stable knee pain. I knew next to nothing about medical procedures, so was surprised when he talked about drawing liquid from my knee to analyze my problem, which was done promptly. I am now awaiting analysis of the liquid. Im so happy with the Dr's expertise.

This was a very satisfying visit. I usually hate going to the doctors office because it's usually very distressing, but I called to schedule an appointment & the lady who answered was very friendly & helpful, got me an appointment same day. Didn't wait a lot & met Dr. Lev-Weissberg. He is very knowledgeable, friendly & respectful. He assured my worries concerning my condition. Loved his attitude & he would be my PCP. Definitely recommend to everyone.
