We are primary care physicians serving Ventura county with the highest quality of care. We also have Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Endocrinology here at Primary Medical Group. Our goal is to approach medicine differently by offering more cohesive care and education that extends beyond the four walls of the exam room. We do not just make suggestions and write prescriptions, we have taken steps to improve the health of our patients. Our family physicians have developed educational content that empowers their community to make healthy lifestyle changes. We pride ourselves on going beyond the exam room to make our community healthier and happier.

I was seen pretty quickly after arriving at the office. Dr. Algra was great at listening to my concerns, reviewing my past records, and immediately taking action to try to help figure out the issues. Glad I went to this office to get my Physical Exam. As a new Patient the check up was done quickly and uncomplicated. Just need to get my blood drawn next at Quest and that's it. Would recommend.

The staff was nice, I did have to fill some forms out on my phone when I first got to the office before my appointment. My phone disconnected from the system and restarted the process. That was annoying. My physicians assistant (Nick) was direct and to the point. He asked if two med students/training could be in the room with us..I think they were students…they could have just been some weirdo’s with him, nevertheless I gave him my approval. He did asked them to leave when he looked under the hood. I feel like he listened to me and got it done. There was one issue that my old doctor missed diagnosed and Nick took care of it with a swipe of his pen or push of his keyboard(order medication). I’m a little older and a PA wasn’t my thing. I’m paying for a MD and I want to see an MD. Furthermore wouldn’t gone to him if I would have known. However Nick did a good job, got me the tests I needed and I feel is directing me in the right direction. Look at that! 1000 words……….now!
