Prime Internal Medicine Associates is an internal medicine practice providing medical care for adults of all ages in Dallas, utilizing a holistic approach to medical care. The highly trained staff includes internist Della Mathew, MD. and Shalini Katikaneni, MD. Dr. Mathew has been in practice as an internist for more than 15 years. Whether a patient needs a routine checkup or more advanced care, Prime Internal Medicine Associates’ philosophy is to treat each patient as a whole person instead of just what’s on the medical chart. Dr Katikaneni (also known as Dr K ) has been in practice for more than 20 years in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex. She also serves as the Chief Medical Officer of a healthcare company.
The team at Prime Internal Medicine Associates focuses on patients’ individual medical needs. The practice features a friendly staff and compassionate providers who are known for their caring bedside manner. We take pride in our work, always with the patients best interest in mind.
Prime Internal Medicine Associates provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a range of medical conditions. The practice helps to maintain the lasting health of patients with chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, and congestive heart failure.
We also offer TELEMEDICINE for those who cannot come to the office. Along with after hour and weekend appointments.

Any doctor who expects patients to sit and wait for them for an hour or more should seriously re-think how they schedule patient appointments. We are not there for the doctor's convenience. My appointment was one of the first of the day, there was no one in the waiting when I arrived and no one when I left, which was after 45 minutes of waiting for the doctor, who never showed up!
