Hi there, I’m Charles May! I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step to seek support isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most courageous things you can do. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges, discover your strengths, and move toward the life you want. A Little About Me I believe that therapy is a partnership. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement as we work together to overcome the difficulties you’re facing. I use a compassionate, client-centered approach, tailoring every session to meet your unique needs. Through techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I’ll help you untangle unhelpful thoughts and build skills that empower you to take control of your mental and emotional health. I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help patients learn how to modify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to the trauma. How I Can Help I specialize in supporting adults who are dealing with: • Depression or feelings of sadness and hopelessness • Anxiety, worry, or stress that feels overwhelming • Struggles with sleep, restlessness, or fatigue • Social isolation or challenges connecting with others • Concerns about substance use • PTSD and Trauma Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.
