I started therapy with Dr Hector Lopez a few days ago. I think he’s a very good Physical therapist. I was impressed by his careful listening to patients. He explained to me why he prescribed the exercises I was given and how it would help me get back to doing the things I want to do. He is a good judge of how much of an exercise to do or weight to use, after I did what he said I found it challenging and tiring but ok. I went to see Hector as some years ago I had terrible neck pain and I had been getting PT for it through another therapist for a couple of months but I continued to have pain. On one complementary visit I saw Hector on account of this pain and he gave me one more exercise, this really helped and got rid of the pain after a couple of days! So I’m really hoping he can get me back to hiking and biking ??

So I had surgery on my shoulder in December, not a simple tear repair but a massive reconstruction of the shoulder. I chose to do my PT at Professional Physical Therapy specifically 45 Franklin avenue in Nutley, and I'm extremely happy that I did. The staff is fantastic (Adam K., Carrie M., Dustin P., Charlaine M. & Rowie R.) , they are friendly, we have a lot of laughs and they truly care about you and your recovery. Carrie M. at the front desk is the absolute best, and has become one of my favorite people. Adam K. Was my physical therapist and brought my shoulder back to life. His knowledge of my injury was remarkable, constantly explaining to me what was actually going on in my shoulder, which I really appreciated. He truly cares about helping you heal and has a true passion in his work. My shoulder feels amazing now and I can't thank him enough!

I was experiencing lower back pain the day prior to a trip and Anthony from Professional was a lifesaver! He was able to quickly assess the issue, fix my lower back pain and taught me numerous exercises to help prevent aggravating my back in the future. Partially torn rotator cuff in left shoulder. So far I am extremely pleased with the results. All the staff are courteous, helpful and attentive, especially Purvang Kapadia who is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him and their facility very highly.

I would highly recommend pro PT. Meara treated me for issues with my knee and leg. I especially liked the knee massage and when she used the roller on my hip. The exercises were easy to do. Everyone at the facility was extremely professional, pleasant and helpful

Sean is unbelievable!!! He makes you feel so comfortable and at ease . He is so well read about all types of therapy. I have never been a big fan of therapy in the past but he has made a believer out of me . If you need any type of therapy call there and meet with him you won’t regret it! I could go on and on instead I urge you to go see for yourself

After a severe wrist break left me unable to move my hand post-cast, Mike at Professional Hand Therapy worked miracles getting me back to full function. His exercises perfectly balanced being challenging yet achievable, and he made the entire recovery process fun and engaging. The friendly, professional staff created a wonderful atmosphere where patients genuinely supported each other throughout their healing journeys. I couldn't have asked for better care during what could have been a frustrating recovery period.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. William Lovejoy at the Pleasant Valley Way location. After surgery on my right rotator cuff, Will helped me regain full use of my dominant arm. He was extremely hands-on and always took the time to listen to my concerns when something didn’t feel quite right. I especially appreciated how he would add or modify exercises based on my feedback to ensure I was progressing appropriately. I never felt rushed, and he made the whole process feel personal and supportive. It took about six months to get back to where I wanted to be, but I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Will and the entire clinic.

I couldn’t have chosen a more caring and professional physical therapy location. Dan & Lauren are excellent. They both patiently take the time to explain the therapy as well as the purpose behind it. Recovery from my rotator cuff surgery will be a long process but I couldn’t be in better hands.
