I can’t say enough good things about Professional Physical Therapy and especially about Jason. After dislocating my shoulder, Jason made me feel confident that I was in the right hands. From day one, Jason took the time to understand the severity of my injury and worked with me step by step to rebuild strength and mobility. He always explained why we were doing certain exercises, which really helped me stay motivated. Not only is my shoulder stronger, but I feel even better than I did before the injury. If you’re dealing with a shoulder injury or any injury, I highly recommend seeing Jason. He truly knows what he’s doing, and he genuinely cares about your recovery.

I started therapy with Dr Hector Lopez a few days ago. I think he’s a very good Physical therapist. I was impressed by his careful listening to patients. He explained to me why he prescribed the exercises I was given and how it would help me get back to doing the things I want to do. He is a good judge of how much of an exercise to do or weight to use, after I did what he said I found it challenging and tiring but ok. I went to see Hector as some years ago I had terrible neck pain and I had been getting PT for it through another therapist for a couple of months but I continued to have pain. On one complementary visit I saw Hector on account of this pain and he gave me one more exercise, this really helped and got rid of the pain after a couple of days! So I’m really hoping he can get me back to hiking and biking ??

So I had surgery on my shoulder in December, not a simple tear repair but a massive reconstruction of the shoulder. I chose to do my PT at Professional Physical Therapy specifically 45 Franklin avenue in Nutley, and I'm extremely happy that I did. The staff is fantastic (Adam K., Carrie M., Dustin P., Charlaine M. & Rowie R.) , they are friendly, we have a lot of laughs and they truly care about you and your recovery. Carrie M. at the front desk is the absolute best, and has become one of my favorite people. Adam K. Was my physical therapist and brought my shoulder back to life. His knowledge of my injury was remarkable, constantly explaining to me what was actually going on in my shoulder, which I really appreciated. He truly cares about helping you heal and has a true passion in his work. My shoulder feels amazing now and I can't thank him enough!

I have rotator cuffs tears and severe pain in my upper back , shoulder and neck. I have been couple of therapist but they didn’t understood and took care of my problem. I went Eileen of Professional hand therapy. First she listened to my problems carefully. ( which is very important for line of exercise) She exactly knew what to do. I felt 50% better in my first visit with her. She is not only knowledgeable but also very smart. Some therapist give exercises and walk away but she will stay with you until you do. It right and keep an eye on you so that you don’t make a mistake. She is excellent. I would recommend all my friends and family. Thanks so much Eileen. You are the best.

For finger and hand strengthening after removal of a pin for a mallet finger. Everything that could be done was done. Learning how the muscles work, various techniques to continue strengthening my hand and finger and the heat therapy. Yes, I would recommend Pro PT and Eileen Purcell.

I had an excellent experience at this physical therapy clinic. The staff is professional, friendly, and maintains a clean and well-maintained environment. I was experiencing lower back pain the day prior to a trip and Anthony from Professional was a lifesaver! He was able to quickly assess the issue, fix my lower back pain and taught me numerous exercises to help prevent aggravating my back in the future.
