Protea Counseling
I’m a Professional Counselor focused on holistic wellness and healing through trauma-centered practices. I work with individuals across the lifespan. In addition, I work with people throughout the lifespan as they negotiate life's challenges and transitions.
Creating an atmosphere of safety and acceptance is a priority. I strongly value collaboration, community building and wellness. From this perspective I believe in standing by others through their journey and work with various therapeutic modalities that are trauma conscious including expressive techniques and multicultural counseling .

I received a text stating that I would get an email for my video appt. As of my appt time, I still did not receive an email. I called, no answer, left a message, a never received a call back. Very unprofessional. I took a half day at work, and never was contacted by the doctor. If there was an issue, she could’ve contacted me and made that clear. But instead, there was zero respect for my time and needs from the doctor.
