NP Careen is warm and inviting, with great bed side manner. What stood out to me the most is her ability to listen without interruption and she explained in great what medications would be best for me and my situation. Amongst other great suggestions I can do to help without the aid without the use of medicine.

Zocdoc said my insurance was approved but the day before my appointment they said they weren’t. The whole reason I use zocdoc is to find a provider that accepts my policy so I am disappointed by the fact they were saying they approved my insurance but because it is a Colorado insurance I was unable to have my appointment.. while they are showing approved in colorado

The provider has bad internet connection, dropping the call two times, and a poor understanding of technology. There were multiple times the student practitioners sitting in on my appointment interrupting the psychiatrist in mid conversation, leaving me feel awkward talking about the issues I was seeking help for. I believe a psychiatrist should give their patients their full attention, and if they get easily distracted, they might want to think about taking on student interns.

I really liked Careen! She listened to all of my concerns, really seemed to care and give me wonderful advice. I had made a follow up appointment with her on February 26th for March 11th. I didn't receive the confirmation email until March 8th- which is my mistake I forgot and was traveling. I responded to her message the day of and let her know that I did not remember making that appointment and she cancelled it. I called the line to see if I could rebook & have the fee waived- which she immediately agreed to which was appreciated. However she out of nowhere starts getting very aggressive saying things like " You have no accountability for what you did, I would never just make appointments without confirming" Border line yelling and talking over me and I was shocked/confused the whole time what the issue was. She was disrespectful & I don't want her having my info or ever reaching out again. She actually scared me how she was speaking to me! Maybe it was a bad day for her? But WOW!

careen was very compassionate and patient with me. she validates my feelings and always reassures me that I'm doing an amazing job as a mother. she took so much time getting my history and talking through my symptoms before prescribing the medication we both agreed would work best for my postpartum depression and anxiety.
