Psychodiagnostics
Psychological Assessment is what I study, practice, research and teach. Psychodiagnostics, my practice based in Northern New Jersey, exclusively evaluates and explains, diagnoses and describes. Assessments assemble upwards of twenty standardized, computerized, and objective tests into customized batteries designed to answer referral questions, discriminate among disorders and provide descriptions of persons and problems. Common evaluations include:
• Independent child study team evaluations:
3hrs./$2,200.
• Dyslexia and related Learning Disability Assessment:
3hrs./$2,200.
• Data-driven rule-outs for ADHD: 2hrs./$1,200.
• Intelligence (IQ) testing: 1hr./$600.
• Administration of Neuropsychological Tests:
3.5hrs./$2,700.
• Autism and related developmental assessments (initial diagnoses): 1.5hrs./$900.
• Autism assessments inclusive of diagnosis and functional assessment: 3hrs./$1,900
• Competency and guardianship evaluations:
3.5hrs./$2,700.
• Accommodations related evaluations for the
PSAT/SAT/GRE/LSAT/MCAT: 3hrs./$2,200.
• Mental health and personality assessment: 2hrs./$1,200.
Please note that psychological evaluations are typically between two and three hours long, with exact pricing and approximate times posted above. Importantly, this fee schedule includes those many hours taken to score assessments and write detailed reports. Reports range from two to ten pages. Many include graphs and tables, quantifying abilities and describing their significance to the end of answering referral questions.
Insurances are not accepted or directly or indirectly billed. Also, most insurance companies deem IQ testing, child study team testing, accommodations testing and many other forms of assessment to fall outside the scope of “medical necessity.”

Dr. Hertler was amazing in the entire process of my academic validation, I was suspecting of ADHD/ASD symptoms. I went through complete process to get the IQ assessment, with very clear process on what happens. Would highly recommend the doctor to anyone in my friends/family.
