Steven tunes in when I speak. He repeats back in his own words for confirmation of his understanding - he brings up pieces of conversation in later sessions but also remembers important details like birthdays. Steven.
He and I meet weekly on Mondays, and it’s an excellent start to my week. I look forward to our hour together. I feel energized, uplifted, and like the picture I have for my life is clearer. I am growing more deeply aware of myself, my struggles, the stories I tell myself, the goals I want to set for myself and my life through his guidance.
Something that I also personally enjoy is that Steven is a human first, therapist second. He understands how essential it is to appropriately bring in elements of his own lived experience to show evidence of shared understanding.
