Doctor gets defensive when asked about whether service was included in my medical insurance. Lost patience easily on patient. She even complained about her other patient in front of me. No professionalism at all.

I met Dr. Tan in February with concerns about prediabetes, vision issues, and fertility. Despite multiple requests, no labs were ordered—she said it was an intake-only visit. I asked for documentation of my requests being declined, which she refused, saying we’d revisit everything in May. That follow-up, where labs were finally scheduled, was canceled last-minute in April due to her vacation. This has delayed basic testing and referrals I urgently needed. If your health needs align with her timeline, she may be fine—but if you’re seeking timely, responsive care, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
The front desk staff are just as clueless if not worse. Save yourself the time and money.

I am a young adult looking for my first primary care doctor that isn’t a pediatrician.. I have some prior conditions that need some elaboration on and was looking to get a referral or recommendation for mental health services.. the doctor told me to “call her office for that” after the call so I said Ok.. but When I called, the woman in the office (who is super super nice) was genuinely so confused as to why the doctor would tell me to call the office and was basically given a name of a facility and told to call. I was really looking to find a primary care that would be willing to listen to my health journey and provide recommendations for care- since I was also inquiring about my existing prescriptions that I haven’t been able to get filled due to not having a primary care for several months..while on the call the doctor told me she didn’t feel comfortable prescribing me medication- even though I have been prescribed it for an extensive amount of time. Disappointed

Dr. Tan was communicative and listened to my issues. She made a follow up appointment with ease and I'm happy with her as my PCP. I was also able to get into them very quickly and the doctors medical assistant was very knowledgeable and kind.
