Are you struggling with codependency and people-pleasing? Therapy can help address your relationship patterns, attachment style and worries about disappointing others. In therapy, you will be an active partner in finding your voice and identifying patterns that are no longer working for you.
Crisis can be an opportunity for transformation. Working in partnership with you, we can address underlying concerns that affect your wellbeing. As a psychodynamic therapist, Rachel will listen carefully to your concerns and listen to your feedback about how you want therapy to go.
Rachel has worked as a clinician at Bellevue Hospital, in residential settings addressing substance use, and was part of the team starting New York City’s first crisis respite center, a homelike alternative to psychiatric hospitalization.
Rachel is an LGBTQIA+/body positive affirming clinician, integrating awareness of the struggles of our political world. Rachel studied literature and gender studies at NYU and obtained a Masters of Social Work at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
