Rachel has been a valuable part of my recovery and treatment since I’ve started sessions with her over a year ago. She is kind, thoughtful, and attentive to my concerns. Her ability to validate, as well as, pushback, is helpful and insightful. I appreciate her prompt responses when I send a message outside of sessions, along with her scheduling flexibility if I’m unable to attend. For all those reasons, I would recommend Rachel as a therapist without reservation.

I have been working with Rachel for 7 months. I came into therapy with her already being agonizingly distrustful of people in general and health/assistance providers in particular due to some grossly inappropriate and at least one criminal relationship.
She has earned my trust and respect by her consistency, gentleness, keeping her promise of how often she would be in contact with me, apologizing in a way that was meaningful to me when she made a mistake, being open about her experience with and knowledge of (or lack thereof) some of the concerns in my life, responding in a timely/appropriate/understandable manner to me when I ask for clarification - I have learned that this asking is a critical thing to do in a healthy relationship which is what I believe I have with Rachel, her openness/willingness to learn new skills/new ways of doing things and to not put a client in a "box" according to their psychological diagnosis, her clearly stated receptivity to hearing about when she has made a mistake in judgment, etc.
All of these qualities give her credibility in my way of thinking/relating to people and the world. I highly recommend her for anyone who struggles with trust, shame, hopelessness, abandonment, neglect, abuse, feeling connected/visible to and heard by other people.
In a lifetime of being in therapy (MANY years) I have only met one other provider who approaches the impact Rachel has had on my life... I am PROFOUNDLY grateful and blessed to have found Rachel. I have made more progress in the past 7 months than in the previously mentioned numerous YEARS.
