The doctor was a bit hard to understand. I would not recommend, as he immediately tried to prescribe me all sorts of alternative medications even after telling him that I’ve tried them in the past without any success. I don’t feel comfortable switching up my 3 prescriptions all at once because the doctor “thinks” they’ll work better and be safer. I have no issues with my current medications, so if anything, switching all of my medications at once would greatly increase the risks and side effects of the medications as well as increase the risks of these medications not having the same efficacy. I’ve understand many younger doctors are afraid to prescribe certain medicines because of recent FDA findings or changes to guidance, and this is true with this doctor. I’m all for safety, but when that comes at the expense of me receiving care that actually WORKS, these factors need to be considered. It did not seem that this doctor even wanted to consider my points surrounding this. 4/10.
