Randy W. Green, Ph.D.
All behavior- positive, negative-- begins in the neuro-musculature of the body and is held there in unique ways. When we are at our 'best', our bodies are balanced and centered in a way in which the system comes to rest... calm, but focused and aware. We can make highly useful decisions in this state.
When we are stressed, our bodies are tense, negative, toxic, chemicals are released into our bloodstream and our ability to decide in a useful manner is restricted.
The task is accessing and learning to maintain- through time-- the state in which we are at our 'best' and hold it, no matter what shows up in our lives. This particular outcome can be a challenge to achieve... but that's the work! When you are at your best, you think better, feel better, have better relationships and of course, make more life-enhancing decisions.
