I have several health issues as I have gotten older and also survived cancer. Rapha Medical clinic has always been exceptional in their care. They are extremely responsive, which is important when you’re feeling really rotten. I would highly recommend virtual and in person visits as I have done for the last two years. Dr Goshu is my primary care provider.

I scheduled a virtual appointment with Dr. Goshu after trying to get an appointment from my longtime primary care physician for a week then told I couldn't be seen for a month. During my virtual appointment, Dr. Goshu asked me to come in and see him that same evening. I was concerned about Rheumatoid arthritis. My joints hurt; I had no energy. After listening to me, he was almost positive it was something else but took blood to be sure. The nurse was an expert in drawing blood. I did not feel a thing. In the meantime, Dr. Goshu gave me a shot and a few prescriptions. The next day I felt much better and two days later, I felt better than I have in a few years. I am making diet and exercise changes and I switched my primary care to Rapha Medical Center with Dr. Goshu. I am a very happy new patient.

Waiting area was packed tight and had terrible air ventilation. My appointment was booked for 2pm. I showed up at 1:45pm to configure time for check in and paperwork. The waiting room was hot and frankly, stank. I stood for most of my waiting time in consideration of much older patients to give them room and seating (which I absolutely did not mind). By 2:53pm, after a check in of being seen around 2:35 at 10 minutes, I had to leave due to other timely circumstances. The staff was gracious and offered their hours (open until 8pm), and reschedule as early as 4pm, which I could not do, and an offer of a virtual visit, which did not fit my parameters for my visit. I was there to receive a simple prescription that truly required no intake or invasive patient/doctor/exam room service. I would recommended being sure you have at least 2 hours for a simple visit such as mine, and 3-4 hours for more in depth.

Dr. Dennis made me feel sane about taking care of my physical health and helped me make evidence-based choices. As someone who has autism/severe anxiety about doctors and insecure about physical health, she listens and allows for a safe space to become more productive. She listened to all of my concerns and went overtime with me because I had so many of them. Never had a better experience with a physical.
