Ravenswood Health & Wellness Center
The primary focus of our work at Ravenswood Health and Wellness Center, as Chicago health care experts, is to quickly alleviate your pain and get you feeling better. After we reach that benchmark, our health professionals, Dr. Jason Fennema, DC, or Dr. William Bastian,works toward their goal to promote wellness in Chicago in general. In doing so, we will ideally expand your health and wellness education.
Helping the people of our community learn to live well and stay in great health in Chicago is our responsibility as your Chicago health care professionals. We hope that during the time after receiving treatment and education on spinal health, your outlook on wellness, as well as your resistance to physical ailments, will continue to develop and improve.

Im a 74 year old woman who has suffered with back issues since I was 15 years old. I've had 2 long term Chiropractors during those years. Dr Fennama is the first to incorporate exercises during my appointment time in conjunction with an adjustment. I've only had 2 appointments but I'm already feeling a marked improvement. I'm looking forward to continuing my treatment program and am expecting continued improvement

I have been afraid of chiropractors for a very long time due to a bad experience. Dr. Jason is remarkable. Very kind, patient and conscientious. I will be going back for at least 6 weeks, and I plan to go after that periodically for maintenance. If he could make me comfortable, he’s very good. I’m sorry I waited in pain for months before seeing him.

Currently go to seem Dr Jason 3 times a week. I suffered from headaches for a long time and thought they were just a normal thing. I started feeling better within the first week with Dr Jason. Now I rarely have headaches and if I do it’s probably from another reason, not my posture.

I visited Dr. Fennema's office after I had hurt my lower back whilst working out. To make a long story short, I was seeking some relief for my back pain, which I did not receive after 2 visits.
What I did receive, was a "consultation" that ultimate led to a heavily suggested 24 chiropractor visits, where they conveniently lower the price if you pay upfront. I was weary of the amount of visits suggested and cost, so I visited a different chiropractor the same day (who helped to alleviate my pain that visit, by the way).
I was also called repeatedly late at night by the doctor on his personal cell phone urgently seeking to start me on this 24 visit program.
Outside of the staff being very friendly, my experience with this office was altogether poor.

Dr. Jason was very helpful when explaining my X-rays and spinal conditions. I found the program he put me on releived my discomfort quickly. He was very thourough when explaining how the program was improving my spine. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
