Our approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with a holistic understanding of mental wellness. We recognize that mental health is influenced by more than symptoms alone, which is why we take the time to understand your experiences, lifestyle, goals, and individual needs.
We provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your care. We believe meaningful progress begins with a genuine connection and a treatment plan that works for you.
**Important Information Regarding Stimulant Prescriptions:**
Due to updated New Jersey regulations requiring in-person evaluations for certain controlled substance prescriptions, Recognize Mental Health does not prescribe stimulant medications, including Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, or Concerta. We continue to offer ADHD evaluations, non-stimulant medication management, and individualized treatment options.
We encourage patients seeking stimulant prescriptions to establish care with a provider who offers the necessary in-person services.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Miriam!
From the first appointment, I felt genuinely heard, understood uncomfortable. She takes the time to really listen and understand what you're going through without ever making you feel judged. What sets her apart is that she isn't just focused on prescribing medication.
She looks at the whole person and considers lifestyle, emotional well-being and individual needs when developing a treatment plan. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and thoughtful in her approach and I truly feel that she cares about her patients.
Finding a mental health provider who makes you feel both supported and involved in your own care is not easy. I'm so grateful to have found her and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, personalized mental health care.
