I saw a different provider than the listed provider. I saw Dr Yao. She was excellent. Very thorough, explained everything clearly and spelled out my options. I’m from out of town and a dental crown fell off, so I needed it reattached. It was a bit annoying that I had to fill out so much paperwork for just one straightforward procedure but I guess that’s just how the cookie crumbles. Office staff were very welcoming.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sami Maassarani! I booked my first appointment very last minute and the office was very accommodating. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I am typically very hesitant to go to the dentist as I have had unfortunate experiences with other dentists, but the staff did everything to make sure I was comfortable. The office was easily accessible and I will be returning for future appointments!
During the initial consultation, I had a fairly pleasant experience. However, when I came back to get treatment, I wanted to go over my plan and potential desire to forgo a few recommendations and I was met with extreme defensiveness. After discrediting the information and gaslighting me by inaccurately stating that all of this information in full detail had already been provided by him at a prior appointment, he started stating his discomfort and stressing how great of a dentist he is. He proceeded with most of his recommended treatment but some of the work was not done with great attention to detail, unlike the work he had done before this conversation. Because healthcare professionals are incentivized to provide more care than necessary, I always seek to fully understand any recommendations from any professional I see. If that’s what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Sami. There was also a billing issue, but I won’t waste my energy fighting that. Be careful with them.
