My passion is working with adolescents and their families to improve their mental health and family dynamics. I love helping clients and families get 'unstuck' and grow in confidence. With 18 years of experience supporting teens through depression, anxiety, self harm, substance use, trauma, suicidal ideation and abuse/neglect, I provide a warm, interactive style that draws clients into the therapy process and keeps them engaged. While I offer outpatient telehealth appointments currently, I have experience working in adolescent inpatient hospital settings, residential settings and outpatients, both on and off military bases. I specialize in adolescent mental health and substance use. I also work with military youth and families as they face unique challenges in life transitions. I offer individual and family sessions as well as parent consultations and supervision to new MSWs working towards licensure.
