Outpatient physical therapy clinic serving Staten Island since 2017. Led by Dr. Richard Melville, DPT, ATC – licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer with over 12 years of experience.
We specialize in treating Back pain, Sciatica, Neck pain, Balance, Shoulder injuries including rotator cuff and impingement, Knee pain from meniscus tears or ACL injuries, Hip and Ankle injuries, Sports injuries, Post-Surgical rehabilitation, Work-related injuries, DOT cases, and Chronic pain management.
Our clinic offers same-day and next-day appointments with personalized one-on-one treatment plans. We accept most major insurances including Medicare, 1199, No-Fault, and Workers Compensation. Conveniently located on Victory Boulevard near major bus lines.
Dr. Melville earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from LIU in 2013 and is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. We proudly serve patients throughout Staten Island including Bulls Head, Willowbrook, New Springville, Castleton Corners, and West Brighton.

First off let start with I booked my appointment in Zoc Doc, Zoc Doc showed Dr Melville had an appointment available for today Sunday June 9th at 2:00pm so I booked it and when I got to the office the office was closed so I checked my Google and saw that refuah physical therapy is closed on Saturday and Sunday but are open Monday to Friday not to mention I did not see any business hours posted on the door of Refuah physical therapy. So I called Zoc docs customer to make a complaint about my experience and they informed me that it was the business who updates the info for their business on Zoc Doc.

This office is prepared and professional. You better be ready to work it’s physical therapy which means you’re going to move if you can. They are hyper aware of your safety and ask for feedback on positions and corrected me when I was unsafe. Courteous, smart and professional! Just how I want my healthcare professionals.
