Dr. Anna Lea Cloribel is with over 21 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine. Her expertise excels in delivering care to patients with orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric and pediatric cases. Dr. Cloribel has treated thousands of patients, of all ages in need of post-operative, sports, orthopedic, neurologic and chronic pain conditions. She is a seasoned Physical therapist who have shared her talents with our National Fencing Olympians, professional athletes and exercise gurus.
She has gone through extensive mentorship program in manual therapy and comprehensive certification program in the Maitland-Australian Technique. Dr. Cloribel earned her DPT from The Dominican College of New York and continues to stay abreast of current trends by attending continuing education courses from massage to exercise science. She also contributes to aspiring Physical therapists and Physical therapy assistants as a Clinical Instructor for Columbia University, New York Institute of Technology, Stony Brook University, etc. She is currently in pursuit of advanced functional manual therapy certification to further advance the patient experience.
Dr. Cloribel's goal is to improve her patients wellbeing by assessing their individual needs. Her practice involves applying evidence-based physical therapy principles and techniques, uniquely tailored to each patient. Dr. Cloribel also believes that patient education regarding their condition instills confidence and is a vital part of the healing process.

Dr. Lea is an exceptional physical therapist. She creates a comfortable and supportive environment where I can discuss my goals, and she’s always clear about the exercises and plan needed to achieve them. We spend time in the gym doing strengthening and form work, and doing the manual work as well. She’s patient as I have shifted focus from my neck, lower back and posture, and all around.
I almost hesitate to write this because it means more competition for her schedule, but she deserves the praise. I’ve been seeing her twice a week for the past few months and plan to continue. a wonderful doctor and an absolute professional.
The staff are great too! I never have to wait for my appointment and the facilities are super clean.

Exacerbated my pain/shoulder impingement symptoms and needed to switch to a new practice. Seemed nice in the office, but passive aggressive and attempted to side-step any accountability via email and added components to my insurance claims that weren't even assessed during a visit so I will need to contact my insurance company regarding billing issues with this place and potentially escalate. I would recommend to find someone else. If any patient has worsening pain from PT treatment that is persistent for >24h after PT sessions, you let them know, and they don't reasses/adjust adequately, please find a new PT.

Dr. Cloribel is exceptionally attentive and highly knowledgeable in body biomechanics and post-operative recovery. After a terrible cervical spine surgery, I was barely able to move even 4 months post-op. Luckily, I was recommended to see Dr. Cloribel, and now I’m finally seeing consistent improvement week after week and a gradual return to normal life. Her massage techniques and targeted exercises have been the only things that truly helped. I highly recommend her to anyone dealing with spinal issues!

I was struggling with neck pain for months and was only prescribed pain medication. But because I did not want to take medication chronically, I found Dr. Cloribel (and I am so thankful that I did!). I'm especially appreciate of Dr. Cloribel's knowledge of her craft and how the muscles work together. After 2 months, my neck pain has substantially decreased and I am (almost) pain free

Dr. Lea is amazing! She is extremely knowledgable, but always communicates in a clear and concise way that's easy to understand.
She knows exactly how far to push your body and her exercises are very thoughtful. They're targeted to the problem area, curated to your capabilities, challenging enough that you immediately notice amelioration, and varied enough so your body never builds a tolerance to any effectiveness.
Her bedside manner is also excellent. You'll wish you had more time in each session. I highly recommend her for any of your physical therapy needs!

Dr. Cloribel was so kind and attentive! She relieved a lot of my sprained neck pain but also walked me through why my body was feeling certain ways. She educated me while performing treatment which was so helpful! I left feeling in tune with my body and super relaxed. She taught me exercises to do at home and practiced them with me. She’s also just a very pleasant and personable person - I felt like I could tell her anything and she would listen to me without judgement. I think the most amazing thing about this office specifically was no sense of urgency to get through with me to see another patient. My appointments with Dr. Lea are always great! She's naturally a very caring person and has a very calm demeanor. I usually don't have to voice too much about what hurts. I always feel better after my session with Dr. Lea. I suffer from Lymphedema as an after effect of Mastectomy from Breast Cancer and severe tendonitis. She treated me after my mastectomy and had improved my Left shoulder movement in order for me to get radiation therapy. Now, i am Cancer free and free from frozen shoulder.
