Doc Davenport is totally awesome. Timely and efficient. She listens so well. For a person from my background, mental health evaluations are rarely used. She made me comfortable enough to forget my past and what others has had to say about mental health. She is fully there to help me along this journey. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor!!!!

I cannot recommend Monique enough, one of the best appointments I've had with a medical care provider in a long time. The appointment did not feel rushed and she was very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. She did a great job of making sure I understood all of the next steps with follow up appointments and medication. She was also very timely with sending in my prescriptions. She sent them in the same day of our appointment and they were ready for pick up the next day! I am beyond grateful to be adding her to my care team and feel relief knowing I have found a provider that listens and prioritizes my care. :)

If I need her care in the future I will return without hesitation. She was friendly, respectful and supportive. I made the appointment with her because I was feeling discomfort with my current provider. I later realized that my medicine dose had been reduced, so that may have been the cause. So for now I will keep my current provider.

She wanted to totally take me off. All my meds taper, my benzo. Diazepine, even though I have panic attacks flashbacks from CP. R on my dad before he died in my arms and didn't listen to what I would have suggested And I think when it comes to psychiatry, they need to listen more and not be so scrutinizing about people's past.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a psychiatrist, and was medicated. She was very patient with me to begin with. She was a great listener as well. It's hard for me to describe how I am feeling, so she helped me out with examples if they matched or sounded familiar to me. We went through my choices for medication, each were explained thoroughly with sides affects and research done on them. Including what they did which I really loved, it made me more comfortable with what I will be taking. Including having a way to communicate if I have questions or concerns. Very great overall!

I had a really positive experience with Melissa. She was very attentive and actually took the time to listen to what I was saying, which hasn’t always been my experience with other psychiatrists. In the past, I’ve felt like appointments were a bit superficial or that I wasn’t fully heard, especially when it came to medications I had already tried without success. Melissa approached things differently.
She made the conversation feel natural and comfortable, and I didn’t feel like I had to hold anything back. I was able to be honest about my experiences, and she really considered that when working with me. Together, we came up with a plan that felt personalized and realistic for what I’m going through.
Overall, I felt heard, respected, and supported. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist who truly listens and works with you to find what actually fits your needs.
