Welcome to my practice and thank you for your interest in my services!
My name is Reka Furedi and I’m a board certified psychiatrist, with years of experience, serving patients throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota utilizing the latest technologies to provide individualized care, tailored for you, via secure video visits to fit any lifestyle from busy city life to rural, close to nature choices and everything in-between.
As a psychiatrist my main area of interest is optimizing my patients’ medication to meet their, unique, individual needs, not only to best help you to reach your best state of mental health but to also work closely with your primary care provider and other specialist treating you to work with any underlying medical problems that can have a major effect on your overall wellbeing. My passion for searching for answers lead me to join research teams and earned my PhD in Neuropharmacology, that helps me understand and apply the latest scientific discoveries and publications and make informed, evidence based, state of the art recommendations regarding your treatment, that we can discuss and together develop a plan that you feel comfortable with and trust. During my years of training, I was fortunate to not only learn from the best about medication but had extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy modalities and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), that helps me understand how your life experiences formed you, and affect you in your daily life.
In my practice understanding the person as whole, setting realistic goals and working closely as a team to reach those goals is the main objective.

Ive been on medication that has worked great for me for over 4 years and she took me off 1 and added a couple more. I was made to pay out of pocket for 2 drug screens and still have not got my medication called in when I absolutely need it to function in daily life tasks. Its been over 5 days since I took my last drug test and not heard a word from her. Very frustrating.

Joey is excited to participate in all our conversations, including psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and good old fashion counseling.
I’m not sure if we had made an appointment for therapy not sure if I missed any appointment. I was pretty sick last week with memory and all the joy if Serotonin Syndrome. We aren’t coping well with it.

I’ve been searching for 7 years for a doctor that would listen to me and how I was feeling. I have been seen by numerous doctors who have prescribed medication‘s I didn’t need. They never listened to me or heard what I was trying to convey. Finally Dr. Reka Furedi listened to me and heard my voice. She was compassionate and understanding.
