While most psychiatrists do not practice regular psychotherapy, nor psychoanalysis, nor psychedelic assisted treatments, having a medical provider who is experienced, interested, and open to alternative treatments allows for a more expansive, intimate, profound, and wholesome approach. Less than 1% of psychiatrists have this level of training: psychoanalytic training (5-yrs or more, in addition to an MD), and psychedelic assisted therapy and research training through Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

Dr. Reusche has been an exceptional psychiatrist for me. He helped me at a time when I most needed it. I went from a dark and challenging place to where every day I feel lucky and that I am back to normal again. He made himself available at all times and would even answer me on the weekends and weekday nights when I couldn’t sleep. He did this consistently for me for months until I felt stable again.
He is compassionate, attentive, remembers all of our conversations, identifies patterns across them, and provides real insight into my behavior to help me understand myself better. He has deep knowledge of medicine and helped me find the medications that work best for me with almost no side effects.
He really cares about his patients and I feel so fortunate to have him as my psychiatrist. He is one of a kind. His treatment combines medicine and therapy which has provided me with well-rounded care and I hope to keep working with him. Thank you so much Dr. Reusche.

Dr. Reusche facilitates a truly open and safe therapeutic space where I can be completely myself. He has not only helped me over come my panic attacks, ADHD and life long anxiety, he has helped me feel more connected to others and more aligned with my true self! Dr. Reusche is a wonderful psychiatrist. He is compassionate, empathetic, and is the first Psychiatrist I've seen in South Carolina, who has a clue about how to help someone with PTSD and trauma. After going to many Psychiatrists professing to help with PTSD and trauma, only to discover they only write prescriptions, or provide lame cognitive behavioral therapy (at best), Dr. Reusche was more than just a welcome relief from what is the norm here - he was a unicorn. I am continuing to see him virtually, and am very happy that he is willing to do so. I cannot recommend him enough!
