While past results obviously cannot be assurances, Dr. Brent is adept at customizing and optimizing his approach for the specific needs of the individual. Dr. Brent is a compassionate and highly skilled medical professional. I am very grateful to have found him. My quality of life has greatly improved since I started seeing him. His hours are flexible, and he has been very understanding as far as billing goes. I highly recommend Dr. Brent to anybody who needs access to psychiatric care. He has an expansive knowledge of psychiatric conditions and a very deep and empathetic understanding of the best types of treatments based on the needs of individual patients.

I was referred to Zocdoc by my therapist. I recently moved to NY and was shocked when I learned a couple days ago that my Psych Dr packed up his office and closed without any notice. I gave Zocdoc a shot because I had nothing lined up and my monthly visit had passed without any explanation from my previous Dr. I was first impressed that I was able to navigate the website with little effort and easily make an appointment. Dr. Brent responded the same day and we had our first appointment tonight. I was very pleased with his concern and professionalism. He made me feel at ease and was a very good listener. I could see right away I made a good decision with Zocdoc and he really cared about his clients and enjoyed his work. I very much look forward to working with him. Seemed to just want to write whatever prescription I asked for and get his payment. Was wholly unhelpful with insurance and I was not able to get reimbursed even after he implied I could do it alone.
Dr. Brent was really great with me and patient he made me feel very comfortable and I would highly recommend! He does not accept insurance but if you’re going to pay for your first visit anyway, you might as well see him!

The medicines he was able to prescribe me were spot on to help relieve my anxiety, however, his psychoanalysis was not what I was looking for. I did the majority of the talking for 45 minutes. What I am really looking for is someone to challenge me and ask questions. Unfortunately I will not be going back.
