I made the appointment online and via Zocdoc app 2 months ago. A few days before my appointment, I received a text/email that my appointment was scheduled for 3:45 pm instead of 3:30 pm. Then, the DAY BEFORE my appointment, a woman from his office called to tell me, “The doctor is not accepting new patients.” Not only was this woman unfriendly, she was unapologetic!! Ridiculous!!!!!!

Yes, I have follow up appointment with Dr .Ubilluz. I had complete exam , all my symptoms were interpreted in easy to understand words. Necessary test were ordered.

The office, systems - all old. The follow up appt is noted on a photo copy of
an appt card and is all marked up. The intake forms were hand written and included very little. I will not use a Dr. who comes in for a first time appointment and does not bother to introduce himself. Difficult to understand and seemed angry that we didn't.

The doctor was good but his English could do some work.
I was late like 5 to 10 minutes and he still saw me then he saw me again when I went to the MRI Radiology in Lombard IL. at Duly Health to get a DVD copy of the imaging test done in the MRI and came back with the disc, he found the time to see me again! Most or all of the doctors out there would not see you again or they would charge me for another visit.

Unprofessional. While in waiting room, a pharmaceutical sales rep popped in unannounced. She and the admin person spoke about the doctors family and finances for all to hear. After the patient before me was done the sales rep then went in to speak with the doctor for 20 min even though me, a patient, was waiting and it was past my appointment time. No nurse or modern equipment. When my blood pressure was high after all this the Dr asked why. I explained we did not get off to a good start with the waiting and being bumped by the sales rep. The Dr never apologized and instead made excuses stating his fees to be on Zocdoc and even brining up politics and decisions made by various administrations about medical care. I had to tell the Dr I am not hear to talk politics and the system is not my fault. I will never return and recommend others to consider other options.

Do not waste your time.
I saw the negative reviews and decided to give him a chance anyway. Big mistake. I made and confirmed my appointment through Zocdoc, only to show up and find the office completely closed. No call, no email, no signage, just locked doors. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of my time.
I even called Zocdoc to make sure I wasn’t mistaken, and they confirmed that the provider had indeed confirmed the appointment. There is no excuse for this level of negligence.

I needed to see a neurologist and unbeknownst to me finding one with availability proved to be very difficult. I found this doctor on zoc doc and he had availability that day so I grabbed it, thanks to someone else’s cancellation. The initial consultation went well. Hopefully he is able to help me with my issues.

As soon as I entered the office, the receptionist greeted me and I filled out some paperwork! Once done, the Dr came to see me and started my evaluation. I felt heard and understood.

Awful, disgusting. I arrived and the door was locked and the admin was still there. Opens the door and accuses me of ignoring her cancellation. I showed her my active appointment and she says I MUST have ignored her call- they are closed. I showed her there was no call made to me. She is irate and accuses me of being wrong once again. At this point I’m mad and snap back and she shuts the door on me. She’s an awful disgusting person who made a mistake of not clearing the doctors schedule and then attacked a terrified patient for it who drove an hour to see this man (who was on vacation) the disrespect. I called zodoc who confirmed she had not cleared the schedule and I was still active and scheduled. These people should not be on this platform and don’t care about their patients. Read the Google reviews as well. Everyone hates them. This woman should also be fired. All she had to do was apologize and reschedule but she attacked me.

The receptionist was very nice and professional and greeted me when I arrived. My appointment was at 9am. I was seen by the Dr right away. He was very professional with great bedside manner. He also took time to listen to my concerns and is knowledgeable.

Dr Rodrigo is great. He asked the right questions. He’s very analytical. He’s very careful during the examination. He makes you feel comfortable right away. The receptionist is kind and friendly. It was my first time ever visiting a neurologist and it was great! I feel taking care. I’ll be back as many times as necessary.

Receptionist needs to work on our attitude and clarity when speaking to parients giving instructions from the doctor etc Even rude when speaking to another nurse who was attempting to understand her wrongly written patient notes.

I personally had a great experience with Dr. Ubilluz. This was my first time seeing a neurologist and he was kind, attentive, and considered every detail of my conditions. When my insurance wouldn’t cover one of the meds he prescribed me, he called the pharmacy and change the prescription within an hour. Highly recommend!
