Root and Bloom Therapy, LLC
My practice is built around the idea that therapy should feel both supportive and practical. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to try things differently. Therapy doesn’t need to feel intimidating or overly clinical to be effective.
I take a trauma-informed, integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, DBT, and relational therapy. Rather than forcing therapy into a rigid structure, I tailor the work to each person—paying attention to patterns, nervous system responses, and the real-life context people are living in.
I work with both the immediate and the longer-term in mind. Often, people come to therapy because something feels urgent right now—they’re overwhelmed, stuck, or just trying to get through the week. Part of our work focuses on helping things feel more manageable in the present, while also looking at the bigger picture and building changes that last beyond the immediate crisis.
At the core of my practice is collaboration. Therapy isn’t something done to you or for you—it’s something we work through together, at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is for therapy to feel grounded, thoughtful, and human, while also giving you tools you can actually use outside of session.
