Treatment for anxiety, depression, grief, relationship or work anxiety, eating disorders, phobias, bipolar disorders, BPD, and more. In person somatic treatments, and house calls for agoraphobia or hoarding disorder.
Beginning counseling is a healthy first step towards change. I have successfully been treating anxiety disorders, specializing in Panic Disorder & Agoraphobia, as well as Depressive and Personality disorders. My career began in the 90's with NYC's homeless population, and has evolved into private practice on-line, in-person, and also offering house call options. I have also worked with Bipolar Disorders and Schizophrenia in different settings over the years. I received my Master's in Counseling from Hunter College in NYC in 1996 and have an advanced Master's Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo. I have lived and worked in the 5 boroughs, as well as out East on Long Island, and now in Central New York.
I have also been a practicing, NY State Licensed Massage Therapist since 1997 and have extensive experience treating physical and mental trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and a variety of mental health concerns with psychotherapy, energetic/somatic body work or a combination. . I strongly believe in resilience and change and that a supportive therapeutic relationship can provide profound realizations and healing.
