Worst medical experience. Should have trusted the other reviews saying that the doctor is rushed with terrible beside manners. Context: came in for a simple annual skin screening. Doctor barely looked at me and did not initiate any holistic review of my skin. Instead when I started talking about my skin history (not serious), he immediately jumped to suggesting a biopsy. I've never had one before, and didn't realize that getting a skin biopsy is basically a mini surgery. What was confusing is that I asked about a blemish, the doctor said it was fine. But he still recommended a biopsy to "check it out." He and the medical assistant attempted to stick a needle in two body parts at the same time (anesthesia). So painful that I twitched and the assistant had to have the doctor do it. I have medical trauma now and feel regret that while I only came in for a skin screening, I ended up with a facial scar on my face from an unnecessary biopsy. Felt like they just wanted the insurance payment.

Although I made an appointment they didn't have me scheduled so I waited over a hour to see the doctor.
I also arrived 15 minutes early as suggested for a new patient and the staff was at lunch.

1.) Office stated they no longer use Zocdoc, and therefore was unaware of my appointment.
2.) The doctor glimpsed at my abscess, literally 2 seconds from a distance, before shouting out to an employee 'she needs surgery', and leaving. Did not advise me of what I should do for the 1-month prior to surgery. No discussion of how to care for my wound, treatment, what to expect, etc. The total amount of time the doctor spent with me was less than 1 minute.
They clearly wanted me out as quickly as possible.

Front office workers not friendly or helpful for first time patients. Wait was fairly over an hour. But Doctor was friendly and helpful.

Receptionist leaves a lot to be desired. Didn't recognize ZOCDOC pre-registration forms so had to do them all over again. The reason I chose this doctor was because I could make appointment on line and do paperwork at my leisure. Love ZOCDOC! get them up to speed on this please.
