Very unclear communication. I was told immediately, before the teeth cleaning, that I had four cavities. However these are all old ones that she insisted be ‘re filled’. The first reason was because ‘insurance covers it every 2 years’ but nothing was mentioned as to why it was needed. Then the teeth cleaning was very quick and did not seem to be taken as seriously after I declined my teeth be refilled. There wasn’t even any flossing during the teeth cleaning.
No questions were ever asked about my teeth history or my experience prior to the visit. I called the dentist I went to before that is out of state and they said cavities do not need to be refilled. It felt like a scheme to get more money from me and my insurance. I will not be returning.
Initials hidden
I went to the dentist because my crown had fallen out and one of my fillings had also fell out. During the visit, the dentist examined my teeth and confirmed that the crown needed to be reattached and the filling needed to be replaced. While she was checking everything, she also noticed that another filling was starting to come loose, so she went ahead and fixed that one as well. She made sure all the repairs were secure, adjusted my bite, and gave me instructions for taking care of the treated areas afterward.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Liu for a while, and I cannot recommend her enough. They are always very patient, take her time to explain everything clearly. What I especially appreciate is that she never push unnecessary treatments – only what’s really need.
