Welcome to the Rothschild Mental Health Counseling center. We provide psychotherapy services, psychological support and treatment to adults, families, children, and adolescents. We offer online sessions via HIPAA secure videoconferencing. Our approach, above all, is gentle, pragmatic and therapeutic. We believe that anyone can start improving their life from the very first therapy session! We use an eclectic style of therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Gestalt. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to better their lives. We work with clients on their most immediate issues of concern at the beginning of a therapeutic process, and then focus on identifying client's long term goals and help them achieve their goals, and pursue their dreams. We believe that being able to reach one's goals is one of the fundamental ingredients of success, and we can help you to identify, and move toward your goals, whether it may be to decrease your suffering, depression, anxiety, improve relationships, pursue vocational, or other goals. Alina is an absolutely phenomenal therapist and I am beyond grateful to have her in my life! Alina is the DEFINITION of caring and supportive and I cannot say enough positive things about her. I decided to start therapy when I was experiencing depression over some personal issues and she has completely pulled me out of it and changed my mental state in only a few months. She offers unique and unbiased perspectives that make me think in a different way and I learn something about myself every session. Alina also provides practical strategies to deal with my relationship issues and we examine how certain childhood traumas have impacted my self-image and current behavior. Tia was wonderful. I felt comfortable and she was a great, active listener and understanding whenever I needed to expand on any yes/no questions.

I was seeking a temporary therapist due to my primary therapist going on maternity leave. . I had 2 sessions with this therapist, she asked me questions about why I was seeking treatment. . I opened up about my personal family issues and how my mother made me seek mental health services as a child for money. . Followed by how I currently still suffer from that trauma because of it. . And to my surprise this woman literally sends me recommendations to seek PSYCHIATRIC treatment, “as part of her clinics policy” AFTER I opened up about my mother’s false claims and diagnosis for financial profit. I literally, am at a complete loss of words and utterly disgusted by this therapist audacity to just recommend me to a psychiatrist, “who collaborates with this clinic” after only 2 sessions and and me expressing resentment towards my mother after she did this for personal financial ?gain when I was a child.
