I had asked for a body scan to check for skin cancer. I asked if they took Avmed, l was told yes, l uploaded photos of my ins card. When l got there they couldn't find me in the system, then that l showed up as inactive. They called Avmed and finally after 30 mins of waiting l was told the Dr did not accept the type of Avmed l have. I was already there so l paid out of pocket. Dr. Bader was very nice, very thorough. The nurse in the room with us was excellent as well. Thank God he didn't find any suspicious looking moles, and made some good recommendations. l was told the office could send my records to a Dr that does accept Avmed Medicare Advantage.
