Dr. Kemi is good if you only need prescriptions to be refilled, but I would not recommend seeing her if you are looking for any diagnostics or change in medication. The telehealth setup was unprofessional and often felt awkward—I would reveal specific reasons for needing medication/problems I’m facing and she would just respond with, “Hmmmm, okay” or “That doesn’t sound like ___” without following up with any further info, action, or potential routes to take. For me it’s important to feel like I can be safe to tell mental health professionals about specific traumas and triggers, and I just did not feel safe in this scenario. Again, I’m sure she’s great if you just need an existing prescription refilled, but I would not suggest her if you are looking to get any sort of new treatment or diagnoses as she will literally not follow up on any of those requests.

I left this appointment feeling frustrated and unheard. Throughout the visit, the doctor kept going back and forth with me instead of truly listening to my concerns. The conversation felt more like an argument than a discussion focused on my health.
I came in looking for answers and guidance, but the resolution was very unclear, and I left without feeling like I received any real help. My concerns did not seem to be taken seriously, which made the experience even more disappointing.
I understand that not every diagnosis or solution is immediate, but I expected to feel heard, respected, and included in the conversation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Prior authorization was never properly submitted, twice in a row. Then the NP refused to refill an MAOI which I have records for years being prescribed. Only informed me she wouldn't prescribe the maoi refill until 2 appointment and 2 copayments later. Waste of time.

She always has shown up promptly to appointments, sends reminders beforehand so I don't forget about them, and is available if I need to get in touch about a prescription or for any inquiry in between meetings. The whole process has been an easy and positive one.
