Briana clearly explained the rules and expectations for therapy sessions from the beginning and checked that I was comfortable with them. She then asked thoughtful, specific questions to understand my history, my past, and the reasons I was seeking therapy. She made it clear that she could help me with the areas I wanted to work on. I appreciated how accurately she understood what I am going through, which is why I decided to continue seeing her. She also gave me homework to create a list of topics I want to address in therapy. I really liked this approach because it feels pragmatic and organized, and it helps ensure we cover everything that matters. Based on my first interview with her, I'd recommend her.

During my second appointment with Megan, I had to reiterate every detail I told her during the first appointment which triggered an anxiety attack for the rest of the day. She's nice, but would not recommend her for someone looking specifically to treat BPD or moderate anxiety/depression.

Dr. Young has been wonderful to work with. She’s been very patient with me and asks questions in a way that not only allows her to understand me better, but also allows myself to understand. Aritha is such a great therapist ??. First of all, she has a soothing voice that instantly puts you at ease. She listens intently and never cuts you off. You always feel like you were heard and was given great advice. She advocates self-care and even resources to make sure you can help yourself. God has blessed her tongue with advice and a heart of care! ?? I highly recommend her, so much so I recommended her to my sister who has also raved about her! Zocodoc is great with making her appointments and Rula is great with constant updates about the appointment, what to do and even sends reminders. There is also a good patient portal. ??
