From the get go there was a kindness about her that allowed me to feel comfortable seeing as this was my first time having to seek therapy. She was extremely helpful in assisting me with navigating my stress, anxiety, and depression that was brought about due to a very chaotic work environment. Her expertise and suggestions provided me with ways to redirect that anxiety and stress. She was very thorough when it came to analyzing the information I was giving her based on questions she had for me. I could not have asked for a better experience and felt that every session I had with Cathleen was beneficial. I am glad that I am in a much better situation right now which is a big part of why I am no longer needing sessions with Cathleen. I hope that I never have that level of anxiety and stress again, but if I do I feel confident that I would reach back out to Cathleen.

The way I would describe my first experience with Angela, is warm and inviting. Immediately, I felt that she was here to help me. As a Brooklyn New Yorker, I am by nature guarded. However, I felt extremely comfortable. As she got to know me and I got to know her the emotion quickly dissipated.( within 5-6 minutes) We will be meeting weekly, I already have homework and I'm excited about our upcoming sessions. Margaret helped me deal with the sudden loss of both my parents in a short amount of time, plus a terrible boyfriend. She is kind, understanding, she has similar situations and concerns, listens with empathy and compassion, and provides worksheets for references and studying. I looked forward to my sessions with Margaret each week and I'm sorry to end. Thank you Margaret, from the bottom of my heart.

She doesn't play favorites and she lets me and my husband know when we are out of bounds with what we may say during therapy session. I feel safe with her and have not with other therapists in the past.
