Not only was she attentive to my needs, but she validated my experience and extracted some key details that pivoted my care and treatment plan. Melissa was a great listener and took the time to clearly explain things. She demonstrated her knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and treating many conditions which was helpful, especially if you are unsure or dealing with multiple issues.

The provider was professional, empathetic, and attentive during our session. However, the virtual setup and portal communication have been challenging. I was instructed to submit documentation via the Rua portal, but the system does not support uploads. Additionally, my follow-up messages sent over the first 48 hours remain unanswered, and the provider subsequently called from a private number, leaving me unsure of how to contact them directly.
Overall, the platform works, but you need to be prepared to closely advocate for yourself. If possible, I’d recommend opting for an in-person provider for a smoother experience.

I have been trying to get a hold of her all week in which I have seen she has read my messages and just isn’t responding. She sent the wrong prescription, then I was looking to switch the pharmacy since they were out and she is unresponsive. I have been completely out of my medication for days and feeling horrible. Would definitely stay away from this doctor as she is not reliable and you will have issues

Made an appointment and wasn’t seen at all. Called the office 5 times to be sent to voicemail immediately. I never got an email to start the video appointment nor a text. I was never seen. I ended up having to call zocdoc support to report the issue and was told this was something they’ve never seen before.
Would not recommend personally.

I have had bad experiences with Psychiatrists in the past. I loved Jocelyn. She took the time to understand what I was dealing with, listened to my medication concerns and we developed a joint path forward. Love her!

Filled out all my forms and was ready on the call a few minutes before the appt. There were several repeating forms I had to fill out across three different websites to the point where it felt excessive. I waited 20 minutes and the provider still wasn’t on call. So I called the office number to make sure I got the right link. No answer. Sent her a message. No answer. It’s over 40 minutes past the start of the appointment and I’ve had to call a third number to Rula. I spoke to two different representatives (they were nice) and both tried calling the provider saying that typically they leave some note for them and contact the patient if they can’t show for an appt. After filling out several distressing forms talking about my mental health in detail to only have my time wasted and feel disrespected I can only say I’d never recommend seeing Moronke Aboyewa. Mostly because she probably won’t even see you. Disrespectful and a waste of my time.

I waited for 40 minutes and called all of the available contact numbers multiple times and still haven’t heard anything from anyone. Very disappointed as I was really looking forward to taking this step for my mental health
