My first visit went very well. I feel like I'm on the road to getting the answers I seek.

Please don’t choose this practitioner if you are a new patient who is a verbal processor. If you’d call yourself a sensitive person, please find another practitioner. She will interrupt and talk over you even after you politely ask her to stop multiple times. She is fairly repetitive as well, so I wouldn’t recommend using this practitioner for those reasons. I’m sure she is a good practitioner for other individuals, but she was not a good fit for me. I didn’t feel like she cared that her many abrupt remarks were upsetting even though I was struggling to talk calmly without crying because of her bedside manner. I asked for a breather because of how off putting her bedside manner is, and I strongly believe that she didn’t feel the need to take the time to meet me at my halfway because of that interaction.
Kimberley is a sensitive and compassionate listener. We feel heard and supported by her. She always makes sure to answer all our questions so that we can make informed decisions about our treatment.

I was so relieved. I finally felt like I was being listened to and that they wanted to help me which has not been my experience in the past. Volker was not only extremely thorough with the new patient intake questions, but he also was great about explaining back to me his analysis and plan for treatment. I didn’t feel brushed off or like another number, I felt like a human being. I truly appreciate the experience I had with Volker and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who’s in search of a highly qualified, professional, and empathetic provider.

Stephanie is a wonderful psychiatrist who puts the needs of her clients above all else. She is attentive and knowledgeable and handles her work with immense care. She always checks in with her clients and ensures their well-being before altering/prescribing medications. She is thorough with her work and allows as much time as the client needs during appointments. She is responsive to emails/calls and creates availability in her schedule to fit in a client before the set appointment time if they need support. Stephanie's attention to detail and her unwavering dedication to creating a supportive environment does not go unnoticed. She is the first (of four previous) psychiatrists whom I trust and whom I feel comfortable with.
It is convenient and I feel I get almost the full benefit of in-person but when getting a medication prescribed that is a controlled substance there are some pharmacies that won't accept them to no fault of Path but is something to be considered for patients to be able to receive treatment adequately
