Debbie listened to me and heard what I was saying. She offered me tools to help me learn to deal with my depression and anxiety. She is a caring and compassionate mental healthcare provider.

April seems like a lovely person but she was not a good fit for us. We were looking for family therapy that included our precocious 9 year old, who was the one who requested family therapy in the first place. My child felt condescended to, ignored, and marginalized. She felt that she was being talked to like a toddler. My husband and I also felt that she was being marginalized. I think she would be good for adults or couples but not for children who want to be part of a therapeutic process.
The initial set up of the appointment said it was in the same state I resided and was covered by my insurance. It was neither, and now I am being charged for an appointment that literally did nothing for me.
First impression is that she is very lovely and easy to talk to. I was comfortable telling her what was wrong and felt like she wanted to listen and be there with me.
This was my first time receiving counseling. April explained the process and expectations clearly, and she offered some great advice that I was able to use immediately after leaving the call to correct something that was causing a lot of frustration in my relationship. There’s still work to do, and I think April will be able to help me grow and progress as I make decisions about my marriage and future.
My husband and I were both nervous going into our first appointment, but we were so relieved after. We could tell April really cares about us and loves what she does. She spent a lot of time and answered any questions we had. It was so easy to talk to her and we already booked our next appointment. The meeting exceeded our expectations and we are grateful we found her!
