This was my first time to the doctor in over a decade and I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in. I was seen right away, and the doctor was very detailed in her questions and advisories with what steps I should take to continue a healthy lifestyle.
I was very pleased with this office staff, their detail and attention to care, and have found my primary healthcare provider moving forward!

Great doctor who actually listens, asks thorough questions, and does real hands-on care!
Medical assistant was very nice, though she only used hand sanitizer versus handwashing for lab draw and didn't use gloves for lab draw either. Noticed sharps bin was full to the top for first appointment of the day.
I will still definitely come back, the doctor was EXCELLENT and a rare find these days!

Dr. Tanyka Sam was so incredible. I’ve been in New York for three years looking for a primary care doctor and this was the first time I went to a general consultation that wasn't rushed or super short and impersonal. I had such a pleasant appointment experience.

I really enjoyed Dr. Sam and she will definitely be my PCP. I was searching high and low for a provider who was a woman of color and someone who’s knowledgeable, with great bedside manner and I found just that. She listened to all my concerns, explained the next steps and set expectations. I really appreciated that. The office is small and intimate and I felt so prioritized. I enjoyed everything about my visit and I’m happy I found a provider I liked.

I found Dr. Sam to be exceptionally thorough, warm, and knowledgeable. She took her time and was sure to clearly explain things to me. She also really listened to my concerns and addressed them all. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend Dr. Sam and Rushing Waters. I have every confidence that any patient who sees Dr. Sam will surely receive the highest quality of care.
