I waited a short time before seeing the dr., but a very long time waiting for taking the blood test. For me, he's not that caring. I did not explain all the reasons for the visit.

I was so nervous going in because of medical trauma I’ve had in the past and a history of neglect and being ignored by medical professionals. Dr. Austin and her staff were calming from the get go. They reassured me and because I can be nervous going in to see a new doctor I wrote about my trauma and made a list of what I needed to address. I felt that this would be a temporary in lieu of finding a new PCP but I now feel that Dr. Austin is a keeper and is my doctor going forward. I find her caring, intelligent, empathetic, and extremely experienced. Those are my current requirements for any medical professional and she checked off every box for me and some I didn’t even know I had. In short I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a new PCP.

The registration staff were very helpful and kind, the biggest issue I had was when I sat to wait to be called I saw a small roach crawling on the chair next to me so I stood the remainder of the time.
Dr Shapiro was absolutely amazing. She was patient and kind, she listened without interruption. She never once made me feel like I was just a number, but she made me feel seen and heard. I highly recommend this Dr.

As a new patient seeing the provider for the first time she was good but the office lacks communication. I arrived early to my daughter’s appt but we waited almost 2 hours to be seen because the front desk forgot to check us in. I went back twice to inquire about the weight, and if they knew that we were actually they are waiting to see the provider and then finally someone realized that was in the back that we’ve been waiting for so long, and she took a in and then she had told me that they had actually rescheduled our appointment. The Front desk just needs to communicate with the back so that patient especially if you’re there for the first time do not sit there waiting for hours. otherwise, the staff was very nice and friendly.

Dr. Ashinoff was excellent, kind, informative, sensitive, offered options and was respectful of our choices. It was our first visit with her and we would go back: A nurse who did the hearing and vision exam kept excessively calling my teen sweetie, honey, love at the beginning and end of every sentence to the point where we felt very uncomfortable. I hope she wasn’t on drugs, or maybe she had some kind of a problem. We were there for a vaccination and she insisted on doing a physical anyway, which luckily she didn’t do, but the doctor did since it had been awhile. The nurse only did the vision and hearing test. I have been meaning to call the office to tell them she made us feel very uncomfortable.

Alexandra is excellent very kind professional and she will take time to explain and evaluate the kids with compassion and respect.
