I cannot recommend Dr. Mitwally highly enough. From the very first appointment, he created an environment that felt calm, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive. He takes the time to really listen, asks the right follow-up questions, and explains things in a way that is clear and reassuring rather than rushed or clinical.
What stood out most to me is how collaborative his approach is. I never felt talked down to or pushed in a particular direction. Instead, Dr. Mitwally made sure I understood my options and felt comfortable with every step of the plan. He is incredibly knowledgeable, but also warm and grounded.
I leave each visit feeling heard, understood, and more confident about my treatment. It is rare to find a psychiatrist who balances clinical expertise with such strong emotional intelligence.
If you are looking for a psychiatrist who is attentive, compassionate, and deeply invested in his patients’ well-being, Dr. Mitwally is exceptional!!!
